YOUR TIME
Most transition advice tells you how to get a job. This tells you where you should be going.
Is this you?
- You dread walking in every morning.
- You need permission to take a week off, or paperwork to drive 250 miles.
- You can already picture the good Tuesday: the kids to school, a morning at home, work that’s yours.
That’s not an aversion to work. It’s an aversion to work that sucks. School of Grit is for people who want to own their time: building something of their own instead of clocking in to work they hate. Built by veterans. Open to anyone.
Take the assessment →Not for you if
- You want stability above everything, and you’re fine where you are.
- You want to work less, or get rich quick.
- You’re waiting for someone else to fix it.

The Team
Corey Reiser
Founder & CEOWest Point graduate, Army artillery officer, and two-time Afghanistan veteran. Corey built School of Grit to give service members the playbook to financial independence nobody handed him.
The Record
I bought my first house because of his advice. He asked me: “What’s the worst that can happen if you can’t make the payment?” That simple question gave me the confidence to take the first step. Today I own four houses — and it all started with that conversation.
I found School of Grit about 18 months out from transitioning, when my plan for what came next was nebulous at best. Nine months later I’ve moved at an exponential pace toward building something for my future family that would have been unimaginable. My entire way of thinking about money, work, and business has changed.
As a single E-5, I needed to know I could responsibly get into real estate without BAH. Corey taught me enough that I built my own confidence — and I bought the house I’m in right now. They meet you where you’re at; for me that was virtually no knowledge. Learning from them changed my life.
I was working, you know, 50, 60 hours a week, and didn’t have much control of my life… now I’m very financially independent, I have freedom of my own schedule, I book all my own jobs.
